Our monthly newsletter reflects the spirit of the Los Altos community. It speaks in many voices. While written primarily by members of the LANN Board, we are delighted to include the work of contributors from the community, including LANN readers, as well as City Commissioners, members of the City Council, City Staff, developers who want to build in town, candidates for office, school board members, teachers, seniors, and neighborhood spokespeople who are encouraged to present a point of view on some local neighborhood issue.
We are not beholden to anyone and writers are free to tackle any and all community issues. Topics are chosen by the writer, and writers write their own stories. Our Board does review and edit articles to ensure they meet with our editorial guidelines. We serve as a public forum where local community issues can be raised and written about.
